With pound cake I add dried fruit(ie.raisons)but sometimes they sink to the bottom; how can I make sure they spread evenly throughout?

When you are making the cake batter, and almost done spooning the flour into it,leave a small amount of flour, about 3 tablespoons, then mix the raisins or other dried fruits, nuts, etc. , with that small amount of flour. Then add it to the batter mixture lastly by folding not beating, Encorporating the flour/raisins mixture to the batter as the last step , to evenly spread throughout. I tried this step and it works for me everytime.

Hope this helps.

Simple soultion to that...Coat the dried fruit in flour then add then to the batter. It should hold them all over instead of sinking to the bottom =0).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
