With the economy as bad as it is, why would anyone who's not rich or very upper middle class choose to keep pets when they're so expensive?

Our guinea pig is actually rather inexpensive. He comes when he is called. He loves to snuggle.

He squeaks when someone gets into the fridge or he hears a plastic bag, and the most that I have ever spent on him at the vet is $20. And with your reasoning, you wouldn't want to care about a human either - they die too.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
