It was hyped that Stern would replace Cowell, but nothing ever came of it. I don't think you could replace Cowell on American Idol. Simon Cowell was a unique sort of character on these reality competition shows.
I don't know what they will do in Cowell's absence, but he'll be doing X factor, so no big loss.
Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers. Howard is a real treat, but not for American Idol. Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers.
Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers. Sorry, but he's just gross. Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers.NO WAY, Howard Stern is TOO vulgar & no charm.
Simon, while critical wasn't vulgar and he has personal charm. Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers. I wouldn't watch it.
Howard is too polarizing and would drive away viewers. Nope! Howard would be a perfect fit.
I'll offer my thoughts below. And bababooey to you all!
I personally don't mind Howard Stern. I think he is funny, yet can be serious...even though he is known to be a dirty, nasty old man. I think he would do well on there.
He would give honest feedback and goof a little as well. American Idol needs a fresh face because Simon Cowell, in my opinion, was getting bored and boring!
I would have to say no. First, I don't think Howard Stern would be particularly interesting in the job. Selecting singing talent is just not is strong point.
If he were selected, I'm guessing "alternative talents" like the Pants-On-The-Floor fellow would be the only ones he would select (that and any half naked female participants. ) It's not that Stern lacks the brain power to make a good selection, I just don't see him wanting to do so. I imagine he would enjoy giving his nightly opinions on his co-hosts though. So while it would be entertaining, I don't think it would be a good idea.
No, he's crude, obnoxious and don't think he'd contribute anything to the show. In fact, if he does become the new judge, I think the show will go down the tubes in the ratings. They'd have to bleep out every other word he says and that isn't really possible on live tv.
The older people will be turned against him, maybe the real young crowd that likes him, (why anyone would, I have no idea), will watch more. But I won't watch it anymore if he becomes a judge.
He could be a good replacement for Simon Cowell, but he would have to want to do it, and not for money. He would have to be motivated to actually do the Job properly not just being in the lime light. How ever based on what I know of his personality, I don't think he would be able to stick with it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
