To me. Original class music is Billy Joel. Van Halen.
Metallica and Megadeth. Or Mozart. Katy Perry.
Garth Brooks. BB King and Elvis. Original Music elevates it's genre, often transcends it's genre and influences other genres.
But original music isn't just of training and mathematical origin. It comes from the heart and is a message to me. When Katy Perry sings 'Firework' and "Alien'.
It feels almost as if she's talking to me, or when Garth Brooks sung "And the Thunder Rolls" I felt like he had been watching me during a low part of my life. Creating original music isn't as easy as putting lyrics on a page or picking up an instrument. It's about having a story to tell, and telling that story with passion through a unified voice, with instruments and as a part of an ensemble to tell that story.
If you learn guitar. Then learn it for you because you enjoy it. When you're playing that instrument, you are that instrument playing itself.
And from there - tell us stories with that guitar. That will in itself be original and set you apart from the rest.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
