Would you accept a scholarship from a corporation you despised to get through college if accepting it meant you had to work for them?

No, I wouldn't take the scholarship. I went through a similar dilemma this fall. In my inbox there'd be all these internship and scholarship offers for people going into PR or advertising.

The problem is that I hate both of those fields. A lot. They want people passionate about their field, and I am -- just in the opposite way than what they want.

I'd rather have nothing than end up doing something I despise. There are other fish in the sea, after all -- other scholarships, other job opportunities. And if all else fails, you can take out loans.

Plenty of people do it. And it's well worth not having to lock yourself into a career you hate and probably wouldn't excel at.

I would absolutely take it! As the old adage goes "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. " A year is nothing for that kind of money and a job right out of college.

And I've never heard of having a scholarship pay for expenses in addition to tuition. It's also a great opportunity to gain some work experience. Gravy: After she has her degree, her year of experience, and all the dirt on the company, she can use her information to further damage the company, in addition to using what happened to her son.

She can give the information to documentary makers, news agency, or even make a documentary herself. If she has qualms about it, tell her to keep repeating "I'm just working undercover. " In a way, it may be the best way to avenge her son.

Take the money and run. Nothing is more important then education on any level. Theres no clause I would guess to as how hard she would be expected to work.

Possibly if she was constantly late and called in sick often they would not keep her for the full year. But get as much experience as you can from all employers, treat them as a continuation of your education.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
