Would you ground/punish your children for bad grades?

Sort of, depending on how you look at it. But it wouldn't be anything like "you got a D so you're grounded for a month!" Basically, if his grades slip then he has to spend more time studying to catch up, and it would have to be more structured.

If his grades got REALLY bad (think D's or F's) then I imagine he would be grounded from certain fun things for a while, but again, not necessarily as a punishment, but to make sure he focuses on grades. TV, video games, etc would be out the window for a while. Once he got his grades up, he'd be ungrounded.

It depends why the grades are bad. I think it's wrong to simply punish for a bad grade without knowing why. Do they have trouble in the subject?

Is there stress in their lives? Or is it simply too much TV and video games and not enough time studying. If it's the latter, then that calls for punishment.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
