I suppose there would be nothing stopping me. What would I have to lose? There may be better opportunities in other places, and if you never take that risk, you'll never know.
If you have children it may be another story. If I had relatives to help out or depend on, or if the unemployment were temporary, I would have to say that stability for the children would be best. I have moved around quite a bit and I don't regret anyone place I've lived.
When I moved to Florida, all I had was what was in my savings, not much I might add. No job, no apartment, nothing. And it turned out wonderful!
I had a great time and learned so much. Experiences are priceless.
As long as there was a start-up cushion and I guess the younger the better.
I don't think so. Not if I can help it. After all why move to another place where it is not familiar to you and make it harder to find a job rather than stay in familiar territory.
Furthermore, if I stay where I am, I have family who can support and help me if I need something. If I move across the country I have to spend a lot more money for transport, housing, food, etc without any promise of new job. The situation is completely different where the place I currently staying has no job opportunity whatsoever.
But considering that I live in the capital city and biggest city in my country, that seems less likely.
What is the problem by taking risk. Why not make the world travel now.
Been there and done that though it wasn't easy. I'm a bit older now so I might not be so inclined but if you have no attachments to an area and know of somewhere with better job possibilities or you might be happier there, then why not? Many times big risks return in great life rewards.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
