Would you rather be a big fish in a small pond or ...?

Wdf why get a hammerhead when you can get a whale shark.

I decided long ago: a biggish fish in a small pond. I moved back to my hometown where I can see the effects of my actions in the community, and have more hope of creating positive change. I also can se up close the reality that nobody succeeds or achieves on their own - it really does take a village.

I want to be a fish in my own pond whether it is a big pond or a small pond.

I lived in small and medium sized cities all of my life. I felt as if I was kind of a big fish in a small pond at one time, in some ways. I found out that I like my anonymity.

People, esp small town people can be very cruel to someone who can stand out. The people who were big fish by their cash flow or for other reasons appeared to be posturing to me. Some were really intelligent people but many were fools.

I would rather be known or appreciated for my true abilities and not because the people are too limited to realize that there are many people out in this world who can do amazing things.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
