Would you rather be able to go back in time or travel into the future?

And by traveling into the future, I don't mean the way we are all passing time and moving forward. I mean travel into the future in an extraordinary sense. Which do you think would be more fun and why?

The corsets - the strictness of parents? I don't think so but I would have loved to see the Crystal Palace when it was erected. Experiencing the Great Depression to learn what life was like for my parents - enlightening.

Meeting someone like Winston Churchill, Charles Darwin, Mark Twain, Chief Seattle, Abelard and Héloise - Wow. How about being in Berlin when the wall came down?Inspiring. I guess I have bad images from Children of Men, 1984, Mad Max, to want to head to the future.

Future I would choose to go into the future. This decision took a little thought on my part because there are some times in history that I think would be remarkable to visit. I personally have a fascination with medieval times and would love to visit it but something struck me that made me change my mind.

We romanticize many periods in history such as the medieval period or the wild west, but life was almost certainly not as wonderful as we like to think. I think I would rather hold onto my fantasy version of these periods than to go back and be disappointed. With the future, however, anything could be possible!

There are certain expectations we might have but anything that's there would still be fantastic. We know what was in the past, but what the future holds is anyone's guess. I am a slight techno-junkie so I would be excited to see how technology has advanced.

Maybe by then we could visit different worlds, meet new species, do what is now impossible. Besides, if we can go different places, then there would likely be worlds that were similar to other periods in our past. It could be the best of both "worlds"!

There's no way that it could be boring! .

As much as the past would be fun, I would vote for the future. For starters: I would like to see the first contact with an extraterrestrial and what impact that would have on our institutions, social structures, religions, etc. I would like to see what happens to Mankind... will we get off the planet in time, what will we become, etc.I would like to find out if our science and our faith ever reconcile...

Back in time I would love to go in time and give myself some advice. Things to do, not to do, games to bet on, girls to ask out, girls to run away from. I want the future to stay a surprise.Mr.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
