I watched the television series about the sail training barque"Picton Castle" ,she sails around the world every 18months, it was a truly amazing documentary. It showed people of all ages and different backgrounds being trained in the various skills required to crew a sailing ship and also all the places they went and the people they met on the voyage. Since then I've really thought what an incredible experience it would be!
Check out the website,it's really very good. Www. Picton-castle.com.
Alone, I would probably not. If not alone, if I'm with all my love ones, I would definitely do it. That I guess will be interesting and fun.As long as there is no trouble on the way, but how can one be sure, the challenges are always present anywhere we go, as long as we're alive.
Yes, but id need someone, or a group, with me as it would be a great experience, I would also want to stop off at places to sight-see etc...
In a second, I will go as soon as I can afford a sailboat that will make the trip.
Im not sure it sounds like fun but also scary what if you get in the middle of a really bad storm, have you ever seen the perfect storm...lol.
I would yes if I could get my GF in the ship with me:).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
