It's no secret if so. Conundrum uses Mahalo's engine for questions and answers. We get money for answering questions, Mahalo gets advertising money, Conundrum gets ad space and traffic.

Everyone wins. The typical amount of research I do for a question is anywhere between 1 - 5 minutes. I find that the small amount of time I spend on answering the question is worth the chance at $1 and if the site who helps me win money makes money, it frankly makes me happy.

I want the sites to do well as they have given me entertainment and money. ON THE OTHER HAND .. . If there is a site using this information that is not resulting in benefit for Mahalo or Conundrum ex.

Taking credit for the information and not linking back to Mahalo or Conundrum I would be quite upset. I wouldn't stop answering questions, but I would get information back to the parent sites ASAP so they aren't loosing money on this.

Honestly, on the Internet, it's safe to assume that no matter WHAT you write, there's somebody out there scraping it to make money. That's just how it is, and all the regulation targeted at this has been somewhat sketchy First Amendment-wise.(The FTC blogger thing, for instance.) So there's not much point in letting them dictate what I do.

No not at all. I don't see why that would bother me in the least bit. As long as I'm enjoying what I'm doing, what other people are or are not doing doesn't affect me in the least.

Anyone is welcome to use my questions or answers in any way that is of benefit to them. If they are making money off of them, more power to them. Knowing what I have written, I can't believe that they could possibly be making too much money off my questions and answers, I just don't think there is really that much of a market or value to what I write. It's just a little something I enjoy.

Sometimes I do better than others. Oh, and I almost forgot, I've had some really good advice on some real live problems that I've posted on here.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
