Planning a family reunion can be fun and exciting experience. It can also be nerve raking. Especially if your taking on the task alone.To help in your quest to plan a family reunion here are somethings to think about.

First thing to consider is the date of the reunion. The reason for that is maybe you have family who live outside of the state you live. These family members need advance notice so that they can make plans on there end to attend.

Another important factor to consider is the location of the event. Making sure its convenient not just for you but for all that are attending. I cant tell you how many reunions I have been to where people haven't shown up because where its being held is not in a prime location.

Its always good to have it in an open area like a park. Im pretty sure there will be young children there and they will enjoy the space to run around. Now what's a reunion without music.

If you are fortunate to have a DJ in the family enlist there services or you can rent equipment such as large speakers, plug in your iPod and let it rock.

We have the Date, Location and Music. Now the talk FOOD. Nothing says FAMILY like home cooked food.

For every family that will be in attendance, ask them to prepare at least 2 or 3 large dishes to bring and to avoid numerous duplications of dishes ask them to prepare specific dishes. Now what's a reunion in the park without BBQ. You are have someone set up a large grill and throw down.

Everyone has someone in there family who swears they are a master on the grill.

Last but not least have some games planned for all the enjoy. For example, ring toss, potato sack race, three-legged race, touch football etc. To make it interesting put the adults against the kids or mix the kids with the adults.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
