I'm honestly not sure what point he's trying to make, here. Is it against homosexuality? For pedophilia?
Just general musings? Either way, I suppose there is a point that the born this way argument doesn't automatically justify something. But the thing is, homosexuality shouldn't need to be justified in such a way to begin with.
It doesn't harm anyone, as long as it's consensual. And the argument does not justify pedophilic acts, because they are harmful. Also, the other comparisons do not relate as perfectly as he seems to think.
Even though they basically say the same thing about different subjects, it does not mean that they either have to be both true or both false, because they are concerning different subject matters entirely. Even those in favor of pedophile rights, assuming most are like the one in the example, aren't saying they should be able to act on their urges. I think the point they're making is more that they shouldn't be judged for something they can't help.
But personally, I think if someone happens to have a pedophilia fetish, they should just keep it to themselves from the beginning, and not go around telling people.
I'm not even gonna read it. Anyone who thinks homosexuality will lead to pedophilia shouldn't have "Dr." next to his name.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
