1. I've already sent an application video thingy on everysing. They said they will email the date and time to me.
When do you think they will get to me? I sent the video about 3-4 days ago. A.
When I sent it last year, they got to me maybe a week after. So wait a little and see. 2.
What will we do there? I'm going to audition for singing as I already said and after I sing, will they let us dance? Like dance freestyle?
And do they let you introduce yourself? A. They don't have time for every single person to introduce themselves.
Basically, right after the person before you, they tell you to go. Bow, say hi, and start your song. For the Youth Star auditions, they didn't make us dance or anything, but they said that if they liked you, they would make you dance.
But for Global auditions, I'm pretty sure that you have to do a 'Rhythm test' or something, where you either clap the beat, or dance to the music they give you. It's better to dance to it, though. 3.
Is my appearance okay from the way I described it? (Height/Weight/etc) A. Yeah.
It's fine. 4. Do I need to know Korean?
I only know how to introduce myself in Korean and that's it. I know how to SPEAK Chinese and speak/write/read English (duhh xD) and speak a little Japanese. Should I introduce myself in both Korean and English?
A. As I said, you don't get to introduce yourself. Just bow and say hi or something.
No, you don't. For example, SM's f(x) member, Amber, learned Korean as a trainee. 5.
Should I be very serious or have a little humor? A. Honestly, it depends on what kind of person you are.
Like Shindong from Suju, he passed by being unique and making the judge laugh. 6. Say I get picked and I'm a trainee now, can I still go to MY school or do I have to move to Korea?
A. Worry about passing auditions first. Haha.
But usually, you go to Korea, and they have these special schools for foreigners. 7. How much auditions will there be until I get the contract, etc.? A.
It really depends on how much they like you. 8. Will they ask you if you want to debut with a group or solo?
If so, do they pair you up with other members? A. Not quite sure.
Not a trainee (yet LOL).
These days you can learn how to sing over the internet. Check out Aaron Anastasi's singing video lessons here: http://www.voicevideolessons.com The videos are very easy to follow and to my surprise extremely helpful even for advanced singers. For beginners I would have to say this is a gold mine.
I was able to improve my singing, voice tone and range in just under two weeks and I am an advanced musician, been doing this for the last 13 years. I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a singing teacher but that would have cost me over $1400 per month. Good thing with this internet, $1400 it's a lot of money for me.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
