You cannot send messages until you enable Yahoo! Answers email communications. How?

AFTER you click on "edit my preferences"----you then have to click on the "Privacy and Communications" tab, to open the page where you can change the settings. On that page, scroll down to----"The Answers Community can contact me"----then click "via email". Then you must click on "submit".
