1986 Chev C-10 Truck.Will not start just had carburetor rebuilt,new fuel pump,plugs and wires are all new.?
Could be a number of things. Poor timing from the timing belt/chain (expensive fix) could just need a tune up (cheap fix) best bet is to take it to a trusted mechanic.

Try and reset your fuel pump switch. Should be located in the luggage compartment under the carpet. You should see a rubber cover. Press the raised area of the rubber cover to reset the fuel pump.?
