1986 S10 Chevy Blazer that I replaced the fuel pump in but it still won't start?

I changed the fuel pump and ran good for a couple months now does get gas. My 86 Blazer has throtle body carb. Found some problems with rotor.

Changed rotor, Dist. Cap, plugs, wires and coil. Still Had only one code 34 changed Map sensor and code went away.

Still will not run. No codes but cann't get it to run more than a couple second to get any running codes. I'm not sure how much gas it should get.

The injectors don't really spray fuel they seem to have a broken line of fuel and it is not a steady stream. The injector are $170 and I hate to change them because I'm not sure they are the problem. Any suggestion would help.

I know the problem came up some time ago and maybe someone found a solution before and can help me know. Thanks for any suggestions .

1 Sounds like something is stopping the fuel from getting to the carburetor. If you're lucky its the fuel filter. I don't know if Chevy still uses that little stone filter where the fuel line goes into the carburetor.

If they do, blow it out backwards. The next item in line is the float valve. If you have to go into the carburetor, go ahead and get a kit and rebuild the carb.

2 your fuel filter could be fouled, your fuel line could be clogged, or your pump isn't lined up properly. I believe there is a gasket on the base of the fuel pump, and if it isn't tightened down correctly, you could be sucking air past the gasket. I would suggest having a professional look at it.

Some newer vehicles have the fuel pump inside the fuel tank, and the tank must be pressurized for it to work. I don't think an 86 is like that, though. If memory serves, the fuel pump is on the side of the engine, correct?

Obviously, there must be some sort of blockage between the fuel pump and the carburetor.
