About Pete Doherty: Do you think he had anything to do with the death of Robin Whitehead?

It depends on your perception of guilt. By all accounts, she started taking drugs with Pete Doherty and his friends, but taking drugs is a conscious decision that people make for themselves. I don't think that he is morally culpable for the lifestyle choice that she made.

He was charged with supplying her with the drugs that killed her - it sounds like he, or someone else, left the drugs there and she took them. Whitehead is a Goldsmith, so you can bet that there are family members who want a pound of Doherty flesh, they will probably get it. Should he be charged with murder?

No, not unless he planned to kill her. Should he be charged with manslaughter? Possibly, if it can be proved that he gave intentionally gave her the drugs that ultimately ended her life.

To me Mr Doherty exhibets the pyscological profile of a people user - a sub-lect that would think nothing of staging a crime scene to roll a person for funds needed to continue a crack bender. The looted flats of close friends,looted record stores, fleeing a scene where a man is left for dead on the street minus his watch and cuff links- this supports a pattern of disreguard for other people peroid. So it might not be reaching for people to suspect wrong doing when it comes to the death of Miss Whitehead.

This song and dance number has been played much to often by Peter Dirtherty- after all his dirty finger nails and dirty finger prints always seem to be all over theses cases. Catching only 6 months shows that there is something wrong with the English court system- not saying our American court systems are any better but when a person is seen clearly on footage fleeing a scene where a man clings for life - Failure to render aid would have played a large roll in terms of criminal charges presented to our courts. The courts reaction in America over a man known to have a dismal record dropping a substantail amount of drugs while at court - would not play well.

I feel people only do what they are prem to to get away with. Mr Doherty deserves to go to prison for a very long time. I notice when he visits places that have extreme drug laws he never slips up - why not drop multiple bags of brown at the Bali airport or places where people face a firing squad for doing less than Mr Doherty?

Why not spit on people in places where the law now recognizes that act as an assualt and health danger to others? People that spit and are known IV drug users with potentail of having HIV - Hep such as Peter would be subject to prison time here in America.The English court system has been much to kind to this damaged person. What it comes down to Peter Doherty is a bigger pussy than the cats he forced crack on.

The courts in England might think about handing down swift punishment that this looser would think was a torture tactic- such as making the pile brush his teeth and sit in the dentist chair...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
