Acer Aspire AS5736Z-4460 or Toshiba Satellite C655-S5212?

I bought one for my son who is in the army. I spend a whole day with it loading up software etc, but then sent it to him. It is better to NOT have vents on the bottom because they get blocked by your lap.

This one had no vents on the bottom either but it never over heated ( never froze up). How do you know that it is over heating? Is it freezing up.

I have a sony, and I am using it right now. It cooks me if I put it on my lap. It has it's vent on one side.

As long as it is not freezing, laptops can get pretty damn hot and still be ok. Put in a table and run movies over and over on it all day. If it doesn't lock up, I would say it's good to go.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
