My "Android Live Wallpapers" hub started with a few dozen, then got expanded, and expanded, and expanded... And now gets over 300 hits a day. It does help.

When you update your content, you will also notice that your hubscore increases as well. Google likes fresh updates. There are also sites out there that you can use to ping your hubs.

Just search ping your your website and you will find them. That will trick Google into thinking you updated your hub or website.

It definitely helps. I have already updated a few of my first Hubs from only a couple weeks ago and the scores immediately increased a point or two after editing. Then, not long after, another few points.

Yes. I realized before when I made some good changes to my hub I got more traffic from search engines and high hub score as well.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
