Age of consent for a belly button piercing?

Lol @ some of these answers. If you guys so opposed to body piercings then why are you guys even in this section? Grow up and get a life!

The most ideal age to get your belly button pierced would be age 16. You could get it done at a younger age but at 16, most of your body is finished growing so your piercing would be at less of a risk of migrating or being rejected. As for when you are allowed in a legal sense, that all depends on the state you're in.

The laws regarding tattoos and body piercings vary from state-to-state. Some states only allow it at age of 16 and some states don't allow minors to get any piercings other than ears even with parental consent. And some states don't have any laws at all regarding tattoos and body piercings for minors so they could get it done at any age so long as they have parental consent.

Here's a list of all the state laws regarding tattoos and body piercings for minors: http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/tatt... If you're legally allowed to get your belly button pierced in your state and your mom allows it too then go for it. But if you're concerned about the risks migration or rejection then I would wait until you're 16. But it is possible to have a piercing at a younger age and never have those issues.

It's up to you.

Ignore these people! I wanted my belly pierced since I was really young and had it done at the legal age (without parental consent) of 16. I have never taken it out and love it still and also you can take it out if you don't like it, its not permanent.

You can have your belly pierced at any age really, as long as you have parental consent.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
