Para eliminar el caseum o los tonsisialolitos que se acumulan en las criptas amigdalinas, los Otorrinolaringologos realizan una cirugia con un bisturi laser que "abren" la cripta e impiden se acumulen los detritus o caseum. No quitan las amigdalas completamente.
