Anyone experienced a disaster on their wedding? I had probs with my dress & photos are dreadful. I'm gutted?

Instead of hiring a photographer to retake the pictures, find a graphic designer who can photoshop the existing ones. I know some amazing photoshop wizards who have taken horrible photos and made them masterpieces. A lot of times they can recreate backgrounds based on other photos, remove you alone from an existing photo, and import it onto the background to make a picture of you by yourself.

They can also brighten up dark photos, fix imperfections, etc. I haven't seen the pictures to tell whether it would work or not... if they're too far gone it may not be an option, but its definitely something to consider. I'm sorry your pictures didn't turn out :(.

Contact your guests first and ask if they have any photos of you specifically. Other than that, if you are dissapointed, there's absoloutely nothing wrong with having your hair and make up done, and re-doing it, even with your bridesmaids, i'm sure it could be really fun. Maybe at the same time you can 'trash the dress' photos after your traditional.

Alot of these can turn out really beautiful. My cousin won a photography package for her wedding, and I was very skeptical. On the other hand though, she didn't help the situation by not pointing out specifically what she wanted.

Some of the photos are lovely but alot of them look unprofessional as though they were taken by guests. Some are SO touched up, that they are almost blurry. It was meant to be the happiest day of your life, and now you're unhappy.

Re-do it all again and hang your photos with pride! No one will ever know :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
