Navy Boot Camp is not all that difficult, but yet, there are quite a few people that managed to fail it. When it comes to SWCC, yes, you are sounding like a dumb @ss who has no idea what the **** he is talking about. If you could only meet the "minimum" PST requirement, you will NOT receive a contract for it.
And if you have the contract for SB Rating (aka SWCC), then you will be placed in the "800 Division" when you go to boot camp, where you will be exercising and spending time in the pool a lot more than the typical Navy recruits. BUD/S stands for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL; it is a name for the pipeline for those that wish to become Navy SEAL. After boot camp, all of the brand new sailors will be going to the "specialty training" that is based on their jobs/ratings (it is called "A School" or "pipeline" for some sailors).
Bootcamp-Not that hard SWCC-dudes in boats who drop of SEALs, training is hell, that number is the BARE minimum to even try BUD/S-First bit of the SEAL pipeline, hard as hell.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
