Approved I D for voting in Texas: Drivers license, passport, citizenship papers , gun carry permit. What is not acceptable? A V A card.

That's right. A gun permit carried by a good ole boy allows him to vote, but a V A card, proving the carrier risked their lives to , for one thing, allow us to vote, is not acceptable. I find this shocking and horrible.

And the governor who dismisses our brave military, mocking their service and basically saying their sacrifice is worthless, wants to be our President. Lovely. Opinions?

Back when I had a concealed handgun license; I had more documentation of my identity to get it; than to get my driver's license. (considering my driver's license was one of the required papers.) .

Okay - the VA card. My question would be if it is positive ID. If it is as positive an ID as a driver's license than it should be on the acceptable list - but if it is a simple ID that is to be used in conjunction with a positive ID; then not so much.(I.E.If you have to show your drivers license to prove you are the correct holder of the VA card) .

My CCW permit was a photo ID. But as I said - as long as a VA card demonstrates that you are who you claim to be; then it should be acceptable.

Since when has a gun permit ever been accepted as I.D.? And, as for you asking for a citation of my opinions, At no time did I state it was anything other than opinon, my dear. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
