Are most college concert bands better than high school concert bands?

I used to watch high school and university band concerts. I enjoyed them a lot. Personally, I think that university band concerts are a lot more experienced than the teen bands.

You can sense the maturity in their sound and lyrics. University bands can be part of a public event such as the anniversary of a radio station where they are invited. The young adult bands can play more varied music and they are more motivated to improve their performances.Gh school bands normally begin to show their musical prowess in variety shows of their school fairs.

When they are able to draw a crowd and stay to listen to them play, it means they have scored potential. It is a good starting point for them to develop their talent.

Of course college concert bands are way better than high school one. The reason is because while high school students do not have to pay for their learning, college students have to pay for their tuition in order to be in college concert bands. The teacher who teaches in college is also paid more and they are more experienced than high school band teachers.

You also get a better equipment that is not outdated like most of the high schools have. But I think not all the colleges offer concert bands classes. You should check if your college has the program by browsing your college website.
