I'm not sure what there is to be jealous about. We may think we're "cooler" than the rest, but I think it's just ignorance. While we have millions of people that can use an iPad, how many of them know the capitol of England?
How many people outside of high school know the answer to 2X = 3. And how many of those super cool Gen-Y know how to tie a necktie? Yeah, we've got technology that allows us to put music in our pocket, instantly send messages over oceans, and have the "coolest" haircuts, but what about stuff that actually matters?
We were talking to people on the moon in the 1960's, long distance communication is no new discovery. Poverty, hunger and disease have INCREASED over the last 50 years from our grandparents time. So, if there is anything people should be jealous about, it would be the fact that we have the opportunity to turn things around and they don't.
Their time is past, it's up to us.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
