A reptile is in no way a mammal. A reptile is a vertebrate, but it is completely different from a mammal. It doesn't have hair, it is an ectotherm, and it doesn't feed its young with milk.

A mammal has hair at some point in its life, is an endotherm, and feeds it's young with milk.
