Are there any guys who'd date a pre-op male-to-female transsexual?

Only 26 states and Washington DC allow you to change the sex designation pre-op on your driver license. Tennessee is not one of them. Only one state allows that on your birth certificate: Iowa!

All but three now allow it post-op on the birth certificate; Tennessee being one of those three. You could fight the upwards litigation battle that one poster recommended by contacting the ACLU but that could take years to resolve. You need two proofs of identity and one of citizenship or naturalization in order to obtain an under 18 Tennessee Driver License.

An unexpired passport is acceptable as proof of both. Your school ID might work as the second since you are a minor. For more details about what identity is acceptable, click the link below: http://www.dmv.org/tn-tennessee/teen-dri... The passport regulations that allow you to list your sex as the one you live as are at the link below: http://www.state.gov/documents/organizat... Follow the criteria in this link.

You need to print out the form on pages 7 - 8 and bring them to one of the following specialist physician types:internist, endocrinologist, gynecologist, urologist, or psychiatrist. Since you are too young to legally obtain hormones without going through extremely costly, difficult, and time consuming channels; the psychiatrist - MD (and not psychologist - PHD) that is allowed by this statute listed I believe on page 6 is your only feasible option. An internist is possible at your age, but one would not likely sign off for a 15 y/o.

You need to find a psychiatrist - MD that works with transsexual patients to get this paper signed! If you do get this done and go to the DMV, do not mention that you are transsexual to the DMV or they will likely harass you since Tennessee regulations are deliberately behind the nation as a whole and federal law does supersede state law! This should help with your school as well.

They would likely be legally required to treat you as a female in identity and all aspects of accommodation. Failure to do so would give you strong grounds to sue in this case. The ACLU would likely step in on your behalf if you were to have a passport and they refuse to respect your federal legal identity!

Addendum1: You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves for thumbing up incorrect answers to completely objective questions! This is putting your social click above providing crucial information to other trans people that may relieve unnecessary pain and could make the difference of whether they live or die in some cases and the curious public that will make the difference of whether or not they treat a trans person they know with respect. Shame on you dishonorable people for undermining the essential purpose of Yahoo Answers - LGBT.

That will work. @ Erica the US Department of State just amended their policy on gender identity on passports. States, who can arbitrarily decline to amend Birth Certificates have been efectively "cut out of the loop" through the use of Federal Identity Documents.

It's brand new policy but you can find info onit from US Dept of State.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
