Are there any non-plastic and safe baby dishes and utensils for solid food?

My son is going to eat solid food. There are so many plastic baby dishes & utensils in the market. But I worry about the bisphenol-A and phthalates in the plastic.

They are really bad for babies. I use glass bottles for nearly 6 months. But I don't know if there are any non-plastic and unbreakable baby dishes and utensils.

I want them easy to use, sterilize and won't break. Anyone can help? Asked by new_mom 49 months ago Similar questions: non plastic safe baby dishes utensils solid food?

Oneida flatware, enamelware... You could use enamelware. I'd get it in the camping section of Walmart or whichever store you like. Here's a link so you know what I'm talking about.

amazon.com/Coleman-12-piece-Enamelware-D... for flatware, I use Oneida metal flatware sets that are like regular, adult flatware bought through Betty Crocker. Sadly enough, Betty Crocker doesn't sell kitchen products like that anymore, but Oneida is still around and you can buy online: oneida.com/flatware_child-and-baby/. They're about $15.00 for a 3-piece set.

They come in 2 or 3 sizes: Baby, Toddler, Preschool. You might be able to find them at Macy's or JCPenney or some store that carries the Oneida line. As for the first times of feeding my boys their infant rice cereal, I preferred the metal, baby spoon to the rubber-coated spoons a friend gave me.My boys didn't notice a difference either.

Just be careful of jabbing their little gums while teething. Remember, most of us "older folk" learned on baby-sized, stainless flatware, not plastic or rubber. Sources: various .

2 In addition to my answer, you could try these products for sippy cups when that time comes. baby-wise.com/born-free-bornfree-trainer... forgot to say that I am using polypropylene, divided plates that I picked up from the store in the seasonal "picnic" section. Sadly, it's almost winter now, so I can't find more, but keep your eyes open for them.

Polypropylene has no Bisphenol-A, I don't know about phthalates, but I don't believe they're in it.

3 I would suggest stainless steel dish sets... unbreakable, dishwasher safe and they last forever. You can find such a dish set at Life Without Plastic: http://www.lifewithoutplastic.com. Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
