Yes. While other faiths are held in high regard.....often by people who find it easy to criticise Christians. Somalian Muslim kids playing 'dirty Christians' is not seen as a problem in a Birmingham school....
I'll stick my neck out and say on the whole no. Obviously, it happens sometimes. I have Christian family and friends.
Of the ones that I'm close to, I get on fine and I've even been known to indulge their desire for my participation in whatever service they want my attendance at. I've even sat tight-lipped and not given a deserved lecture on tolerance, when a relative came out with what they thought was a reasonable statement about "poofters" and "evil Muslims". I've news for some of you: some people are Christian AND Socialist.
Some people are Christian and accept gay people. Christianity is not the exclusive domain of the right wing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
