Are you afraid of dying? If so, what exactly scares you about it; on the flip side, what quells it?

I wrote an article you should read. hubpages.com/hub/God-is-in-the-eye-of-th... think I have lost my fear of physical death. My question to you, sir, is: how do you know that there was no life before conception?

If I may give you an idea of my perspective of the subject...you have no consciousness before the beginning of your life, but you have not been to the other side. You cannot come to terms with what you have not discovered. Relish in the mystery, my friend.

Yes, I am afraid of dying, because I don't believe in an afterlife, so believe that when by body stops working I shall cease to exist. It is odd because we have all been in the position of non-existence. We all came into being with the creation of our body, none of us had an existence before conception.

I have come-to-terms with this, but the realisation that I shall return to that state I find horrifying. I have found nothing that can overcome this fear.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
