Makes you wonder what else they do not cover.
Well, there you have it: the press is just an extension of the governments policies. The same thing occurred when electronic-harassment victims tried to get help from the Bioethics Commitee. Every single press agent stood up and walked out when these victims began to relate their horrifying experiences with mind-altering, non-lethal weapons.
I've been through enough that I may not have the expertise to prove what has happened......but when you hear rhythmic, high-frequency pulses which ALWAYS bring utter misery - something clearly is happening to us.
I just watched some of the videos. Thanks for making us aware of these protests against Wall Street misdoings. It is interesting how the mainstream media ignored these protests. It reminds me of how the mainstream media ignored or severly downplayed the protests against Bush's stated plan to attack Iraq in 2003.
Some of those protests were huge, in the 100,000s. For NYC and Washington, DC, they were the biggest anti-war protests since the Viet Nam War, but people did not know about them because the media ignored or marginalized them.It appears to be the same for these anti-Wall Street protest. Conversely, some of the relatively small Tea Party protests (much smaller than the anti-war protests), enjoyed wide media coverage, even coverage on the major network's nightly news programs.
So much for the liberal media. Perhaps you should write a Hub about it?
Thank you all. The occupation of Wall St continues. Please forward Youtube videos to all those you know.
This is VERY important. @ Rock.....I agree the peace or war protests in San Francisco were HUGE Well over 150,000 I estimate more like 300,000 I have never seen so many people in my entire life. Market street was elbow to elbow from curb to curb for 3 miles and there were still thousands at the civic center.
The media estimated 50,00 and only gave the story a brief overview.
I wasn't aware of this zduckman, thanks for sharing it. If the mainstream media arn't covering it, then we should. Tweeted and facebooked!
Yes I am, check out my hubs for some more information if your interested. There is also a planned Occupy the LSX in London on Saturday. joshg185.hubpages.com/hub/Occupy-The-LSX.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
