Are you sick of people claiming the Iraq war was not about oil?

I would agree with you, except that even though it happened more than 2 months ago, the thing is STILL gushing oil. So it's still happening. Political views aside, because I'm actually neither republican or democrat....I think in a sense they have not blown it up enough.

I don't know who is MOST able to get the thing fixed. The CEO of BP? President Obama?

Whoever it is, it's ridiculous that it has taken this long and I'm not sure that the media is putting ENOUGH pressure on those that have the most power to contain it. We put a man on the moon. Why can't we stop an oil leak?

No. It needs our attention and downplaying it would only help those responsible for it get away with not taking responsibility. This isn't just an oil spill that happens, is cleaned up and forgotten.

This is a LEAK that is still happening after two months. It means that oil is continually being released into our oceans. If you think this won't affect you then apparently you live on a different planet.

All our oceans are connected and the oil will find a way to your shores too.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
