As an independent sub-contractor are you required to get professional liability insurance?

This depends upon whether the General Contractor you are doing work for is willing to accept your liability under their insurance or the nature of your agreement with the General Contractor Some Contractors insurance policies cover subs while others do not.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
