Batch input and output in Mathematica?

I tested it and got both numbers as output HOWEVER if the last command is not followed by a carriage return, the output is exactly what you posted!

I tested it and got both numbers as output. HOWEVER, if the last command is not followed by a carriage return, the output is exactly what you posted! So, please check that you are ending your last line with a carriage return.

2 Thank you! The problem was that the last line was not ending with the newline character. – Alexey Popkov Jul 1 at 1:07 @Alexey Perhaps the carriage return won't return anymore cbc.Ca/news/world/story/2011/04/26/… – belisarius Jul 1 at 11:48 Actually a newline after the last line is not enough.

Most editors insert that newline after the last line even if they don't show it. You need a whole extra empty line at the end to make this work. – Szabolcs Jul 1 at 13:04 @Szabolcs Not on my machine :) – belisarius Jul 1 at 13:05 1 @belisarius, you're right, my bad ... – Szabolcs Jul 1 at 13:09.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
