Best Gaming PC for around £600?

Prices in the UK are higher than the USA because of VAT, volumes sold, and competition. I see a start for comparison: http://www.amazon.co.uk/shinobee-HEXACOR... at £569 plus I would assume you want Windows 7 purchased separately, or get a Linux op system, and you may still have shipping, but it is more or less at your high end of price. It seems to be a custom made (you may do better making your own).

AMD Phenom X6 1055T HEXACORE 6x2.80GHz, 4GB DDR3 PC-1333, 1.5TB SATA HDD, ATI Radeon 6870 1024MB GDRAM DirectX 11, DVDRW, 550W ATX-PSU. The Win 7 trial version in German may not be of much use. I also do not see a mouse and keyboard included nor speakers, and also no monitor yet, so it may be above your price if starting from an empty room.

Phenom II 1055T is a decent CPU, but still less than an i5-2500. An HD 6870 is good graphics appromately a GTX 560 non-ti version. It will run Starcraft 2 on maximum settings and do a decent job on more graphics intensive games.

You can get away with the GTX 460 and it should still do Starcraft 2 and the lower cost could cover more of the missing stuff for this PC. Hard to go much cheaper in the UK and still have a decent system. You might do better building your own, using Yahoo answers for help.

You decide where you can get parts in the UK at best cost. You need a case, motherboard, CPU, RAM, HDD, operating system, keyboard, mouse, display/monitor, optical drive, support cables if not included. Use above and other answers for guidance.

Make a potential list with links. Ask about improving it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
