1 Why not. If you do your nursing study at a "regular" college, rather than a nursing-only institution (and not necessarily all of those). Here at Merritt College you can get a RN in two years (most take longer) with an Associate in Science degree, and if you can carry the course load your major could be either Nursing or Biology, or both.

People do have double majors. But check with the specific school you are considering because it's different everywhere. Good luck.

You have to apply to be a nurse at the school and they only have a limited amount of people they take do to a nursing teacher shortage. You would also need Chemistry and other classes. I would interview people and watch a nurse for a day to see if it is what you may want to do.

I don't think I could handle blood as much even though I was a biology minor and dissected many things.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
