Can a person make an insurance claim on you if there was no police nor police report at a very minor accident?

This person was nice enough to understand that it was an accident and since the damage to the car was very minimal, decided to not take the matter further. We didn't call the police since we where both rushing to work and although we did exchange information and took pictures of the damage. This person called me later on the day and said that he would take care of fixing the scratches on his car.

My car was left in a more delicate condition and does need repairs but I feel that I was done a favor by this person not calling the police and filing a claim with my insurance. The question is if Ii should pay for the damage repair myself or if I can get my insurance involved to help with the cost... I have never been in an accident before so I am unsure on what to do in this situation...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
