Here, in the state of Kentucky you can buy rabies vaccine and give them to your dogs yourself. You can buy them at stores like a feedmill for farms or a vet's office. Or online at a site like: kvsupply.com/Shop I don't know if all states have the same regulations as Kentucky, you can contact that online site and they will be able to tell you all the information you need.
Like your own personal state laws. I could better look it up if you had included that information. A rabies shot is given right under the skin of a dog, it is not a muscle shot.
You have to pinch up the skin a bit, gently put the shot in, slowly releases the medicine, remove the needle and gently rub the skin. However, I do not recommend that anyone give their one dogs or other animals rabies shots unless it's the only option. Giving a rabies vaccine to your own dog will not be a certified and recorded shot.
What does this mean? Well if your dog happened to bite someone, you are still not legally safe from testing on your dog. To the court or health department, it's useless.
If you have a vet give your dog the shot, they will make an official record of the shot that will stand up in the court of law. It will be certified and official and save a lot of headache. Another downfall is that animals can have reverse effects to the vaccine.
If a vet gave your dog the shot, they would know what to look for and be able to respond immediately. Be sure your dog is not pregnant before giving a female the shot.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
