This software was developed by David Palmerio and have lessons on how to play guitar so all those who want to learn guitar including your child can lean it on their iPad. This app does not require any music knowledge and has 11 lessons and it will take 2 months to be able to complete this app.

Another app is Miso Music by Miso Media. The real cool feature of this app can be found on its learning mode. First you choose a song and after that you will see a series of colorful dots scrolled across the screen.

This represent each note that you are suppose to play. It is also called tablature. Tabs are not new but MIso will listen to what you are playing.

Every time you pluck a strings, Miso will use its polyphonic note detection to listen to what you played. If you play the right note a tab will appear on the screen and scroll a bit. It means that you can keep playing continuously and no need to turn the pages.
