Can I use a recovery disc from another computer to restart mine to factory settings?

One thing you can try doing is creating a new user account on the netbook. The new account might not have the virus.

If so, try a 'system restore' back to when the system was OK. Then get some anti virus software like AVG and/or Malwarebytes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
