All you have to do is boil the water and most of the chlorine will boil off. Another thing to do is draw off the water into a jug and store in the fridge for 24 hours, and most of the chemical will evaporate. Get rid of residue on the baby's bottles by pouring boiling water over them before use.To answer your question as to whether or not it is dangerous, I don't know.
I also live in an area where the water is chlorinated and sometimes running a tap smells like an indoor swimming pool, or a hospital.
Thanks IzzyM. We boil the water but that makes the chlorine get hard and the big white stuff gathers in places hard to reach. We'll try storing it in the fridge and see how that works.
I didn't give tap water to my babies until they were at least a year old. Boiling the water or buying bottled water would be a safe bet. If you can smell the water or chemicals it contains, I certainly wouldnt give it to the baby.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
