Dogs and Antihistamines yes, like giving a dog Benadryl when they have a reaction after they get their rabies immunization; some dogs react with swelling on their face, especially around their eyes. If the reaction is really bad, they will need more than an antihistamine, probably a steroid to help with wheezing due to swelling in their throat and difficulty breathing.
