Can you play Gameboy games on Nintendo DS?

Nintendo DS handhelds have a 2nd cartridge slot located at the bottom that allows to you insert a Gameboy Advance cartridge and launch the game through the DS system menu. The Nintendo DSi unfortunately does not contain the said cartridge slot due to Nintendo wanting to minimize size and cost of the hand held. Not exactly the best decision as backward compatibility was a pretty neat feature of the DS.As for original Gameboy/Gameboy Color games, I do not think there is any other way other than using emulators on the DS to emulate these systems.

There are some really good emulators out there if you know where to look (Google is your friend as usual) but you would need a special cartridge that will enable you to execute and launch these homebrew applications.

You don't need a hack to be able to play gameboy games on the Nintendo DS. It has a slot in the bottom for the cartridges. You just have to select gameboy game when you boot up the system.

The Nintendo DS can only play Game Boy advance games in a single-player settings and videos relating to Game boy. This gaming device is not capable of playing under its platform Game Boy original games, Game Boy Color games and games with multi-player settings. There are two underlying reasons, in which this device cannot play Game Boy games, first is that it cannot sync with games designed at a much earlier software and the Nintendo DS is wanting of link cable port.

Additionally, this gaming device is made especially for gaming sans the wires. The second reason is the fact that Nintendo DS, have no separate processor that can accommodate multiplayer games, since "adding that processor to an already highly complicated architecture, the processor was not included in the final design of the DS.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
