Sure I will give you my experience with the Olympus Stylus that I have. My daughter worked for Olympus and she purchased this camera for me since she knew I needed something easy to use. It is a point and shoot camera but has may different settings for different types of poses.

Besides the regular Auto, there are settings for different types of light as well as fast shooting for getting more than one shot due to moving objects. I use that one a lot for my grandchildren who don't stand still. I can delete the ones I don't like.

This is also good for sporting events. What I really love about this camera is the large LCD screen plus the ability to take video with sound. I have many videos of my grandchildren saying and doing the cutest things for the past four years.
