Can you use tricare insurance for a prescription that is not from a tricare doctor?

I am assuming she did not move or change her Tricare when she came to your area. If she didnt, and if she was on Tricare Prime, she needs to call her primary care clinic at her permanent location to get permission for the visit to a doctor. She may have to actually see the ER in order for it to be covered rather than a regular doc (assuming she wants to be reimbursed for the visit).

If she is Tricare standard this is different and I *think* she can choose her own doc but the copay is more and there is a chance she may have to be more than she would have under Prime. She should call the Tricare number on her insurance card and discuss what her options are. If she doesn't have a card, she should check the website at tricare.mil/contactus/ for a phone number.

For the prescription, if you have a CVS or Walgreens or Walmart she can probably fill a prescription there just using her ID and insurance card and be charged the Tricare co pay amount only. I have done this while traveling so I do not think this will be a problem for her. If she is going to have to file for reimbursement (ie no one takes the Tricare prescription) she should check the website to see what documentation she needs to file it.It is possible to fill a prescription from a non-Tricare doc as long as it is a valid prescription.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
