Cannabis Coffee Shops in South Africa?

Living in West central Scotland we have another afflictionwithin our communities and society apart from binge and problem drinking and all the violence and mayhem it brings. The other problem we have is Drug abuse, heroin and crack abuse is the worst in Europe, and amongst the worst in world terms, and it is true that much of the people who take heroin and crack graduated from smoking morrocan hash, weed , red leb etc etc etc, smoking is the gate way. This has been scientifically proven.

W e have all heard the stories that people who smoke spliffs of hash and weed are happy, passive non troublemaking individuals, like nthe old chestnut if 40.000 people smoked weed and went to a football match they would all be shaking hands with each other after the match result etc. I have lived in Holland & have been around individuals who smoke weed and hash, and I can verify that long term regular usage of such substances can bring the onset of mental illness and paranoia and violence , I know because I have seen this so many times. Weed and hash smokers can in many cases be more violent and troublesome than drinkers. These are just facts, I mean a car is a useful tool to take 4 people a 300 miles round trip from say Glasgow to Aberdeen, it can also be a dangerous weapon in the hands of a bad driver who could possibly plough into a crowd of peopleafter losing control of the vehicle.

Etc etc etc...

You don't cite the reason why Holland has chosen to ban tourists from 'coffee shops'. Apparently its due to bad behaviour by tourists and to discourage the rising number of drug pushers catering to the tourist crowds. If that is what they feel they need to do in order to demand proper behavious from tourists, then it is within their rights to do so.

When I visit another place, I follow the rules of that place. If some tourists are going to act like children, then they are going to spoil it for everyone. As a First Nations Ojibwe, I must tell you that we do not like being refereed to as 'Red Indians'.

Nor is there any sort of conclusive proof that whiskey makes us violent.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
