Cheapest replacement name-brand battery for a 2004 Honda Accord?

Definitely Duralast from Autozone. Very reliable, even in cold weather conditions, and by far the cheapest I've seen. Take your battery in and they'll exchange it and help you mount it.

I have found 3 battery's that fit the bill. The first is an Autocraft Gold from Advanced Auto. Group Size: 51R Voltage: 12 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) @ 0°F: 500 Cranking Amps @ 32°F: 625 Reserve Capacity (minutes): 85 Terminal Type: SAE top post Height (in.

): 9-5/16 Width (in. ): 5 Length (in. ): 8-5/160 Weight (lbs.

): 29 Price: $95/160 Core Charge: $5/160 Second we have the Duralast mentioned above coming from Autozone Cold Cranking Amps (CCA): 500 Core Charge Applicable: Yes DIN Designation: BCI or EN Only EN Designation: DIN or BCI Only Height (In): 5/161 Height (mm): 223 Length (In): 9.375 Length (mm): 238 Width (In): 5/162 Width (mm): 129 Weight (Lbs): 27.7 Post Location: Top Post Reserve Capacity (Min): 85 Right Or Left Hand Positive: Right Voltage: 12 Price: $95/160 Core Charge $5/160 Also trailing behind these we have the Super Start from ORiley Autoparts Cold Cranking Amps: 475 Cranking Amps: 590 Reserve Capacity: 70 Length: 9-5/161" Width: 5" Height: 8-5/162" Price: $85/160 Core Charge: $5/160 The Duralast does have a whopping 8 year Warranty so you might wan't to see if your current one fits the bill on that. Beyond that fact the Autocraft Gold and the Durabrand seem to be roughly the same battery so I guess it depends on if you prefer Autozone over Advanced. The O'Riley sports a temping price tag but I assure you the battery is very generic looking and doesn't even have a label so I think this is a classic example of "You get what you pay for.

" on that battery. It seems the Duralast takes the cake just due to the long warranty. The Autocraft has a 32 month and the Super Start has a 72 month.

I have not used or heard of the Super Start brand so I can not fully endorse the product. Though I have been a mechanic for the better half of my life I would say and I have never had any problems with Advanced or Autozone's batteries. Also a side note: Today is the last day to save 25% off at Advanced Auto online with the promo code TDAY.

Not sure how this applies to the battery's though because I think you have to do a local pickup with them.

The cheapest way is to not buy a battery! Autozone does free battery testing. They also do free battery charging on your old battery, so for this one you can't do it online.

Take that old battery out of the dead car and drive it to autozone, I just did this and I was all prepared to spend $70 on a new battery and low and behold...they plugged it in and recharged my battery for free! They even told me that I should have another two years on that same battery. Everyone told me that my battery was DEAD that I would need a new one since it wouldn't even run the interior lights of the car, but they charged it for free and I wlaked out of there only spending a dollar on wiper fluid.

So in conclusion the cheapest battery should be to have the dead one recharged for FREE! Good luck!

You could get a great Plus Start battery from Sears for under $50 with an exchange of your old battery. It has gotten good reviews and comes with the renowned Sears warranty. Plus Start Batteries from Sears.com.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
