Christians: Can god prevent evil WHILE allowing free will, teaching lessons and giving knowledge of good/evil?

It appears that god's free will is strictly limited. As an example, he condemned us all to hell for the acts of adam and eve. Then he changed his mind about it.

So, you would think he would just say, "OK, you jokers are forgiven." But, he couldn't. Instead he had to go into this convoluted thing with a virgin and his son dying on the cross and all of that.

Why? Damned if I know, but he could not just forgive us.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
